Palliative Care Services

The Macedon Ranges Palliative Care Service is jointly managed by Kyneton District Health Service and Macedon Ranges Health Services at Gisborne and is available to all people across the Macedon Ranges Shire.

The service offers support and care to people with a terminal illness and also offers support to their families, friends and carers. The service is inter-disciplinary and links in the necessary services as they are required.

Members of this service include Palliative Care Nurses, Medical Practitioners, volunteers and other health professionals. The service can also assist people to contact other caring agencies such as Pastoral Care, Cancer Support Groups, Grief Counsellors and Financial Advisers.
